Michael Allen Freeman

Michael Allen Freeman, 58, of Sandy Hook, MS passed away at his river camp on the Pearl River on Saturday, June 6, 2026. He was born on October 10, 1967, to Hubert and Elsie Seal Freeman. Along with his parents he is also survived by his devoted wife, Angela Strain Freeman; stepson, Ryan Strain (Brandy); brother, Ryan Freeman; sister, Michelle Gordy; and a host of loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his sons Eric Freeman and Bruce Fornea; paternal grandparents, Clarence Freeman and Corine Freeman; and maternal grandparents, Hobson Seal and Nola Seal.

Mr. Mike was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family, friends, and four canine babies.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Carson Springs Cemetery, 10 Thad Rd. Sandy Hook, MS. Brother Ryan Freeman will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
