Nellouise B Rimes, 97 of Darbun, MS passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Billdora Senior Care in Tylertown, MS. She was born Monday, November 2, 1925 in Kokomo, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12 noon at Magee`s Creek Baptist Church at 174 Darbun Road, Jayess, MS.  Burial will follow in the Magee's Creek Cemetery. Brother Michael Knippers will officiate. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rimes was a faithful member of Magee's Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir, was a member of WMU, and served her community in countless church activities. Mrs. Nellouise was a true example of a Southern Lady and a Christian mother.  Her greatest blessing in life was her sons and their families. Mrs. Nellouise will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband Will K Rimes; father Curtis Bennett, mother Idell Foil Bennett; brother Dewitt Bennett; sisters Ruth Smith and Bert Pittman.

Survivors include her sons Dwight Rimes (Jerry) and Curtis Rimes (Kaye); grandchildren Tiffany Rimes Kilpatrick (Jeremy), Brandi Rimes Linares (Julio), Brad Rimes (Carrie), and Josh Rimes (Sarah); 11 great grandchildren; brother Sammy Bennett; sister Sue Duncan; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Saxon Kilpatrick, Canon Kilpatrick, Ben Rimes, Landen Linares, Julio Linares, and Josh Rimes.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Rimes, Colten Rimes, Maddox Rimes, and Danny Bennett.

Special music will be performed by Jack Hartley and Jeremy Kilpatrick.
