Graveside services for Nels M. Borchardt, 69, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Tylertown Cemetery II with Reverend Keith Smith officiating.

Mr. Borchardt passed away at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS on Saturday, April 25, 2020. He was born March 2, 1951 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Idelle and Marlin Borchardt.

Mr. Nels was a long-time truck driver and had a religious degree. He was a jolly person that loved to laugh, read history books, and helping other.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years Aline Borchardt; son Bob Gray, Sr.; daughters Barbara Robertson, Beverly Babin, Betty Gray, and Bernice Hoffman; grandchildren Pete Miller, Tammy Gray, Bob Gray, Jr., Robert Gray, David Robertson, Aaron Robertson, Rebecca Babin, Veronica Babin, Luas Babin, Derek Davis, John Davis, Gabriel Davis, Bailey Davis, Justin Hoffman, Casey Hoffman, Christopher Hoffman, and Johnathan Hoffman; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers Harden and Scott Borchardt; and sister Marlis Phyllis.

Pallbearers are Gabriel Davis, John Davis, Derek Davis, Bob Gray, Sr., Bob Gray, Jr., Christopher Hoffman, Norman Johnston, and Robert Gray.

A private family visitation will be at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home on Friday, May 01, 2020 to comply with recent Coronavirus recommendations by the CDC.
