Funeral services for Mr. Nicholas Anthony "Cornbread" Rome, 23, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Father Martin Gillespie officiating.

Nicholas passed away at his residence on Monday, March 5, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father Cruz Riveria; grandfather Dane Rome, Sr.; and great-grandmother Pearl Leco.

He was born August 21, 994 in Gretna, Louisiana. He was an Iron Worker for RK Wallace Construction. Nick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children.

Survivors include his girlfriend Samantha Dixon; sons Tyler Dixon and Hayden Dixon; mother Amy Lynn (Glenn, Sr.) Brown; grandmothers Cynthia Rome and Iris Melendez; great-grandfather Jeffray (Arlene) Leco, Sr.; brothers Bryce Rome and Glenn Brown, Jr.; sisters Denisha Rome and Annie Lynn Brown; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be at St. Paul's on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 8:00 A.M. until service time there at 10:00 A.M.
