Services for Mrs. Norma Lee Boyd Duncan, 81, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Hartman Hughes Funeral Home with Allen Pope and the Reverend Buddy Day officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan passed away at McComb Nursing and Rehab in McComb, Mississippi on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born May 10, 1936 in Walthall County to the late Marvin Porter and Emma Armanda Cothern Boyd.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Earl Eugene Duncan; brothers Louis "Jr" Boyd, and Jerry J. "Buddy" Boyd; and sisters Doris Mae Harvey and Audrey Frazier.
Mrs. Duncan was a member of Tylertown Baptist Church where she had served on the Bereavement Committee and in the nursery for over 20 years. She loved to cook and enjoyed crochet and yard work, especially raising daffodils.
Survivors include her daughter Connie Pope and husband Joe; son Ray Duncan; sisters-in-law Georgia Boyd, and Nelda Duncan; grandchildren Joseph Pope, III (Brandi), Allen Pope (Becky), Teague Duncan, Erin Duncan, and Lauren Duncan; great-grandchildren Mickayla Da Re, Sadie, Emma and Aodhan Pope, Adabelle and Charlotte Pope; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Pope, Ray Duncan, Allen Pope, Teague Duncan, Randy Boyd, Steve Sowell, and Joey Pope. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Tylertown Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 5 – 8 P.M.
