Funeral services for Patricia Ann Wood, 68, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at noon with Rev. Randall Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Tylertown Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born October 29, 1952 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Robert James and Bennie Rue Magee.

Mrs. Patricia was a devoted member of Lexie Baptist Church where she served alongside her husband in doing the Lord's work. She made a career helping families out working at Walthall County Department of Human Services as a food stamp clerk for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother who took care of her family and provided them with a loving environment to grow up in. Mrs. Patricia was a great cook and was known for her chocolate and coconut pies. She enjoyed Vintage shopping, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with family. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, from decorating, getting presents for everyone; to just enjoying the spirit of the season and all that it means.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years Leslie Adrian Wood; daughters Anita Wood (Andrew J) Rushing III and Leslie Wood (Michael) Berry; grandchildren Julianna Rushing and Adrian Rushing; siblings James Magee, Dale Magee, and Pamela Sue Case; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Dale Magee, Andrew Rushing, Michael Berry, Adrian Rushing, William Eisworth, and Adam Brumfield.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00 AM until service at 12:00 PM.
