Patsy O Fortinberry Stringer, 91 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2022. She was born Monday, October 13, 1930 in Pike County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 08, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at 12:00 noon at Mesa Baptist Church. Bro. Shane Freeman and Bro. Clay Spinks will officiate. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Patsy was a longtime member of Mesa Baptist Church. She was a devout Christian woman whose whole world revolved around her faith and her family. Mrs. Patsy was the co-owner and operator of Surburban Florist Shop for 20 years and also worked as a teacher's assistant at Tylertown Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her father Percy E Fortinberry; mother Lena Amazon Brumfield Fortinberry; sister Willie Dee Fortinberry;  daughters-in-law Debbie Caraway Stringer and Susan Lorraine Betz Stringer.

Survivors include her husband of 73 years Tilton C Stringer, Jr.; sons Tilton Chatman Stringer, III and Alan Lee Stringer; daughters Kimberly Peters and Loreen Stringer Slaughter (Gregg); grandchildren Adam Slaughter (Lauren), Courtney Slaughter Box (Keith), Heather Stringer Fullen (Bubba), Matthew D. Stringer and Alex Chatman Futch (Delia); 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends, cousins, and extended family.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
