It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patti Stein Morris, who left this world peacefully on June 7, 2025, at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving family.

Patti was born on October 26,1956 in Covington, LA to William Stein and Annette Collins. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched countless lives with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength. Mrs. Patti also proudly served as a member of the U.S. Army.

Patti is survived by her children, Chris Blackwell(Julie) and David Blackwell(Victoria); step son- Jeffrey Blackwell, and her beloved grandchildren, Mason(Julia), Conner, Kyndal, Kip, Karson, Aubrey, Huddy, Cole, Chloe, Tatum, Ashley, Parker, and Katelynn; her brother, Bruce Stein(Billie) ; her step-niece, Belinda and foster kids Brayden and Donald Ray and other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her Son's father, Leslie Richard Blackwell, her husband, Jake Morris, stepson, Leslie Blackwell, her parents and sister, Vickie Stein.

A celebration of Patti's life will be held on Thursday June 12, 2025 at Tylertown Baptist Church. Visitation is 9-12 with service to immediately follow. Hartman Hughes Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Her love, laughter, and legacy will live on in all who knew her.
