Pauline Burch Deavers

Funeral services for Pauline Burch Deavers, 91, of McComb, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Rev. Roger Lee officiating. Burial in the Tylertown Cemetery.

Mrs. Deavers passed away at her residence in McComb , Mississippi on Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born January 23, 1928 in Walthall County to the late Nola and Wallace Burch. She was also preceded in death by her husband Archie Deavers, brother Snellings Burch and four sisters Madge Alford, Faye Roberts, Odeal Johnson, and Katherine Burch.

Pauline was a member of the Tylertown United Methodist Church and the Tylertown Country Club. She had retired from Walthall County General Hospital after serving as a Scrub Tech and other duties for over forty years. Mrs. Deavers enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, football (watching the Saints) taking care of people, and golfing. She loved everyone she came in contact with and never met a stranger. She cherished every moment with family and friends. Mrs. Deavers was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include her daughter Paula Boyd, granddaughter Lisa Boyd, brother T.J. (Ann) Burch, and sister Marie Campbell; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Brad Johnson, Brett Johnson, Bob Toney, Sonny Murray, Allen Campbell, and Lee Davis.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Lisa Vedros for helping and caring for her during her time of need and also thank Forest General Home Health and St. Lukes Hospice.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
