Funeral services for Pearlene Singletary, 85, of Sandy Hook, MS will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Carson Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Dickens and Rev. Archie Herrin officiating. Burial will be at Carson Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Singletary passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born November 28, 1935 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late Georgie and Irvin Taylor. She is also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Singletary; brother Sharp Taylor and ihs wife Barbara; sister Wilmuth Taylor; and brother-in-law Jimmy Dale Breland.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was the kind of person that never met a stranger and loved to get to know people. Mrs. Singletary was also a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church
Survivors include her children Lamar (Lupe) Singletary, Bernard (Alisa) Singletary, Jammie (Sue) Singletary, and Shelia Singletary; grandchildren Alicia (Michael) Singletary Palazzo, Branson (Amanda) Singletary, Christopher (Kristin) Singletary, Garrett (Rama) Singletary, Ryan Singletary, Kaylie (Patrick) Singletary, Zachary Singletary, and Aaron Singletary; great-grandchildren Ethan Palazzo, Matthew Palazzo, Nicholas Palazzo, Benjamin Palazzo, Brody Singletary, Caden Singletary, Carrigan Singletary, Owen Singletary, Collin Singletary, Chloe Singletary, Tristan Singletary, Addison Brady, Riley Miller, and Cameron Brady, sisters Jessie Taylor, Emogene Breland , and Vivian (Kendall) McKenzie, brother Wayne (Dianne) Taylor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
Visitation will be at Carson Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
It is strongly encouraged to wear a face mask.
