Mrs. Alford passed away at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Thursday, January 23, 2020. She was born February 12, 1938 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Freddie and Hubert Brown.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years former Circuit Clerk George Alford; 2 children; and 6 grandchildren.
