Funeral services for Peggy J. King, 81, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Capps Chapel with Brother Rev. David Hedden officiating. Burial in the Rushing Cemetery.

Ms. King passed away at Diversicare in Tylertown, Mississippi on Thursday, January 16, 2020. She was born January 21, 1938 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Gladys and Harold Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy King, Sr.; son Billy King, Jr.; brothers Harold Johnson and Larry Johnson; and sister Clara McKenzie.

Ms. Peggy was a member of Mesa Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and working in her yard.

Survivors include her daughters Wanda (Gary) Wilkerson and Teresa (Michael) Freeman; sister Janie (Melvin) Siebert; grandchildren Shelby Kliebert, Amy Freeman, Billy King III, Jack Wilkerson, and Eric Freeman; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Andy McKenzie, Wendell Johnson, Eddie Barrnett, Michael Freeman, Doug Tadlock, and Trent Johnson.

Visitation will be at Capps Chapel on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM until service at 1:00 PM.
