Peggy Jean Martin

Graveside services for Peggy Jean Martin, 87, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Tylertown Cemetery with Rev. Vann Windom officiating.

Mrs. Martin passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was born March 31, 1934 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Seth and Mamie Beard. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Mason Martin, step-mother Hoyt Beard, and brother Elbert Beard.

Mrs. Peggy was a long time member of Union Baptist Church. One of the things she enjoyed doing the most was making sure her yard was kept in pristine condition.

Survivors include her son Tony (Tammie) Martin; grandchildren Kevin (Rebecca) Martin, Kristi (William)Bird, Kelly (Codie) Martin; great-grandchildren Jake Martin, Mallory Martin, Audrey Martin, Leigh Bird, Lindsey Bird, Andy Bird, Ryan Martin, and Reed Martin; sister Laura Dixon; along with a host of  nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Kevin Martin, Kelly Martin, Jake Martin, Tony Martin, William Bird, and Jason Mallette.
