Rachael Diane Brumfield, 75 of Tylertown, MS passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was born Saturday, August 5, 1950 in Tylertown, MS to the late Woodfin Smith and Florence Knippers Smith. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her grandchild, Shelby Brumfield; father-in-law, Selwyn Brumfield, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Melodee Brumfield.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Selwyn "Buddy" Alex Brumfield, Jr; son, Alex Brumfield (Shelley); grandchildren, Charlee Brumfield, Dylan Brumfield, and Kelbi Brumfield; brother, Greg Smith (Sharon); along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Mrs. Brumfield was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Lexie Baptist Church. Mrs. Rachael enjoyed all plants and flowers, humming birds, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Lexie Baptist Church, 4 W Lexie Road, Tylertown, MS, from 11:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Bro. Randall Griffin will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Mac Conerly, Jeff Terrell, Jason Bullock, Tony Bullock, Connor Van Dan, and Tonie Polk.
