Richard Russell Clawson, 55 of Kokomo, MS passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born Friday, July 5, 1968 in New Orleans, LA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Military honors with held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Louisiana National Cemetery 303 W Pleasant Zachary Rd. Zackary, LA 70791. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richard had a great passion for his career in the military. He serviced his country proudly for 21 years and volunteered his time to the Men of War Program after retirement. Richard was always helping and seeking justice for others in need. His favorite pastimes were working on his homestead, hunting, and spending time with his friends and daughters.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Wilson Clawson; mother Alma Dell Magee Clawson.

Survivors include his daughters Jessica Lynn Clawson (Joshua) and Sarah Ann Clawson (Glen); K-9 companion Savanna; along with loving friends and family.
