Richard Denson Ratliff

March 11, 1958 – August 10, 2023

Richard Denson Ratliff, 65 of Mccomb, MS passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at  North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born Tuesday, March 11, 1958 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery.  Rev. Mack McElveen will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Richard was a devoted uncle that always had nutty buddy bars and time for his great nieces and nephews. He was an avid wrestling fan and enjoyed watching old westerns.

He was preceded in death by his father Isaac Ratliff and  mother Perline Bowman Ratliff.

Survivors include his brother Justin Ratliff (Darlene); sisters Sandra Harkleroad (Jerry) and Angela Tucker (Dale); nephews Sean Oliver, Shannon Wallace, Michael Wallace, Matthew Barlow and Hayden Tucker; nieces Susan Parham, Courtney Barlow and Abbie Tucker; along with a host of great nieces, great nephews, friends and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Barlow, Hayden Tucker, Henry Hirdes, Laake Boyle, Michael Wallace, Sean Oliver, Bradley Wallace, J.J. Byrd, and Alex Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Ratliff and Darrell Jordan.
