Funeral services for Robert Edward "Bob" Toney, Jr., 70, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Capps Funeral Home with Reverend Hong Yoo officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Robert "Bob" Edward Toney, Jr. passed away at his home on Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1951 to the late Robert Edward Toney, Sr. and Frances Deavers Toney. He was the beloved husband of Rhonda Brumfield Toney for 45 years. He was the loving father of Pam Toney McNeil. He was the proud grandfather of Trey Pezant (Katie) and Ty Pezant (Abigail) and great grandfather of Timber Blake Pezant and Charleigh Kate Pezant.

Bob graduated from Southwest Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He enjoyed his 29 years employed with U.S. Foods. While working for U. S. Foods, he would get up every morning at 4 a.m. to help his dad check in clothes at the laundry and dry cleaners.

Bob loved the outdoors where he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, riding his tractor, working in the yard, and walking Frankie Lee. Other hobbies he enjoyed were wood working, dominoes, crocheting, and cooking. Bob had a servant's heart. He enjoyed volunteer work, cooking meals and delivering to those in need, and loved sharing his garden vegetables to all.

Bob was a faithful member of Tylertown United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday school and served as lay leader. He loved his church, church family, and singing in the choir.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Tylertown United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at Capps Funeral Home on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM until service at 2:00 PM.
