Graveside services for Roger Wayne Mirgon, 79, of Jayess, MS will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Sartinville Cemetery with Reverend Dan Campbell officiating.

Mr. Mirgon passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. He was born September 8, 1940 in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Verna and Benjamin Mirgon. He is also preceded in death by his wife Charlene Mirgon.

Mr. Roger served in the United States Air Force and later retired as a Navy calibration specialist with the Department of Defense Civil Services.  He always had a smile on his face and enjoyed seeing others smile.

Survivors include his children Melonie (Donald) Mitchell, Brad Hodges, and Paul (Sharon) Hodges; grandchildren Kasey (Chuck) Adams, Cameron Hodges, Micah Easley, and Paiden Easley; 9 grandchildren of the heart; sister Caroline Chambers; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loving family.
