Ruby Agnes Clayton, 87 of Tylertown, MS passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Diversicare in Tylertown, MS. She was born Monday, October 3, 1938 in Tylertown, MS to the late Ogden Willis Ginn and Mary Ella Magee Ginn. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E Clayton, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12 noon at Centerville Baptist Church (Lexie) in Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery at Lexie. Bro. Wayne Hall will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clayton was a member of Centerville Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, the beauty of all flowers, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Alfred E Clayton, Jr. (Lisa); daughters, Cynthia Annette Thornton (Harris) and Kathleen Dufrene; grandchildren, JD Lightell (Becky), Jason Lightell, Jeremy
Clayton (Courtney), Robin Wetzel (Thomas), Jordan Clayton, and Katelynn Blackwell; great grandchildren, Alleigh-ann Lightell, Kailey Mae Lightell, Jackson Clayton, Connor Clayton, Thomas Clayton Wetzel, and William Brooks Wetzel: along with a host of friends and loving family.

Pallbearers will be JD Lightell, Jason Lightell, Jeremy Clayton, Jordan Clayton, Thomas Wetzel, and James Holmes. Honorary pallbearers will be Harris Thornton.
