Funeral services for Ruth F. Graves, 76, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Oral Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Gerald Penton officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Graves passed away at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Friday, December 27, 2019. She was born June 22, 1943 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Bessie and Oren Fortenberry. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Fred Fortenberry and Douglas Fortenberry.

Mrs. Ruth was a member of the DAR and attended Oral Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. She loved crocheting, traveling, and spending time with her great- grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years Benny Graves; son Tim (Regina) Graves; grandchildren Matthew (Jennifer) Graves, Sarah (Preston) Rushing, Rebekah Graves, Aaron (Sara) Bardwell, Eric (Charlotte) Bardwell; great-grandchildren Emily Rushing, Haley Rushing, Atlee Bardwell, and Silas Bardwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Matthew Graves, Preston Rushing, and Eric Bardwell.

Honorary pallbearers are Mason Dixon, Marcus Fortenberry, and Aaron Bardwell .

Visitation will be at Oral Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
