Graveside services for Samuel E. Skinner, 75, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 1:15 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery in Lexie, Mississippi with Reverend Randall Griffin officiating.

Mr. Skinner passed away in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Friday, December 24, 2021. He was born April 12, 1946 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Earl and Pauline Skinner. Along with his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Clara Phillips.

Mr. Samuel was a member of Lexie Baptist Church and Lexie Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing golf. But his greatest blessing was spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years Bonnie Skinner; children Cherie (Scott) Bailey, Shane (Gina) Skinner and Shay Skinner; grandchildren Scott Blackwell, Jake (Miranda) Blackwell, Samantha Bailey, Jordan Bailey, Bane Skinner, and Eli Skinner; great grandchildren Kenzie Blackwell, River Blackwell, Beau Blackwell, and Lana Grace Blackwell; sister Margaret Packwood; niece Dusty (J C) Mercier-Diaz; brother-in-law Vic Holmes; along with a host of loving friends and family.

Pallbearers are Scott Blackwell, Jake Blackwell, Bane Skinner, Eli Skinner, Scott Bailey, and J C Diaz.

Honorary pallbearers are the Lexie Fire Department members, Curt Wagner, Paul Corry, Garry Dier, Pat Dier, Kelly Dier, and Terry Boyd.

Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 12 noon until 1:00 PM.
