Sara Lou McKenzie

September 20, 1935 – April 18, 2020

A private visitation for immediate family for Sara Lou McKenzie, 84, of Natchez, Mississippi will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Capps Chapel in Tylertown. Burial will be at Boyd Cemetery – Salem with Rev. Mike Harrigill officiating.

Mrs. McKenzie passed away at Lamar Health and Rehab in Purvis, Mississippi on Saturday, April 18, 2020. She was born September 20, 1935 in Marion county, Mississippi to the late Claude and Myrtle Holmes. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Larry McKenzie; son Ronald McKenzie, brother Jack Holmes, and sister June Stogner.

She was a member of Churchill United Methodist Church. Mrs. McKenzie enjoyed spending time with others, listening to music; especially good old hymns. She was also a great cook and enjoyed cooking for others and she also enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her daughter  Elizabeth (Kenneth) Lott; grandson McKenzie (Tiffany) Lott;  granddaughter Kelly (Don) Sacco; and great-grandson Luke Lott.

Pallbearers are McKenzie Lott, Don Sacco, Steve Robertson, David Pyron, Eddie Stebbins, and Dudley Dillon.
