Sarah Diane Martin

September 4, 1947 – May 6, 2022

Sarah Diane Martin, 74 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, September 4, 1947 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church and also on May 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM with Bro. Mark Wicker officiating.  Burial will follow in Boyd Cemetery in Tylertown, Mississippi. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Diane was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with other children.

She was preceded in death by her son Donald Wayne Reid;  father Ottis Magee;  mother Olga Luter Magee;  brothers Mack Magee and J W Magee;  sister Lanier Boyd;  granddaughter Krissy Reid.

Survivors include her husband Buddy Martin; son Bradley Reid (Tawan); daughters Kim Brewer and Cindy Johnston (Jimmy); step-sons Daniel Martin (Sarah) and Dwayne Martin (Angela); 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Chase Davis, Ryan Evans, Bradie Reid, L J Reid, Donnie Reid, Eli Martin, and Samuel Martin.

Special music will be performed by Kristin White, Abigail Pezant, Daniel Martin and Lisa Wicker.
