Memorial services for Mrs. Sarah Beverly Tolar Betz, 74, formerly of Tylertown, will be held at 2 P.M on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Silver Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Hall officiating.  Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Betz passed away at The Crossing Hospice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, July 14, 2018.  She was born May 10, 1944 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Thurman and Lorraine Tolar; In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Susan Stringer; brother Thurman "Buddy" Tolar, Jr.; and sister Mary Ann.

She was a life-time member of Silver Creek Baptist Church and was a retired manager at Metro Credit.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years Charles David Betz; daughter Sarah McCauley; sons Jim Betz, his wife Misty, and their children Jimmy and Amber Susan, and Bill Betz; son-in-law Alan Stringer and his son Matthew Stringer; brothers William Austin (Boogie) Tolar and Lindy Tolar; and numerous nieces and nephews;

Visitation will be at Silver Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 12 Noon until service time there at 2:00 P.M.
