Sherri Hutchinson Lozano, 63, died October 12, 2020.

Ms. Lozano was born September 28, 1957, in Independence, Louisiana, to Marvin and Sally Hutchinson.

She attended Spring Creek High School. She continued her education by earning a bachelor's degree at Southeastern Louisiana University and a master's degree at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, both in special education. She devoted her career to educating underserved and special education students.

She had a deep love of music that was nurtured from a young age and enjoyed playing piano until her last days. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren

She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Robert and Ezel Harrell, and Charles and Danielle Harrell; her brother, David Hutchinson and his wife Connie; eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lozano; her parents, Marvin and Sally Hutchinson; her daughter, Christina Harrell; and her brothers, Marvin, Jr. and James Hutchinson.

A graveside service will take place Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:30 am at the Hutchinson Cemetery in Albany, LA.
