Sherry "Dianne" Neal Sistrunk, 80, left the bonds of earth on January 8, 2024 , leaving behind all sorrow and pain, and entered her Heavenly Father's Rest.

Dianne was born October 3, 1943 to JW and Tera Davis Neal of Lawrence County. She was predeceased and welcomed into Heaven by her parents, her sister Sandra Holmes, and her husband of almost sixty-one years, Paul L Sistrunk.

She is survived by her children, Darrell Sistrunk, Jamie (MariAnn) Sistrunk, and Becky Sistrunk, grandchildren Josh Sistrunk, Alicia (Kevin) Sumrall, Paul "PJ" Sistrunk, Jeannie (Shelby) Carpenter, Kaitlyn (Bradie) Reid, Jamie "JC" Sistrunk, Riley Rayborn (Trint Thames) and Maggie "Rudy" Rayborn (Waylon Leonard), great grandchildren Mikaila (Tristian) Moreland, Hailey Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Kaden Sistrunk, Mirabelle Carpenter, James Thomas Carpenter, Oren Reid and Oakton Reid, one great-great grandchild Zoe Moreland, one brother Tommy Neal, one sister Wanda (Ron) Davis, one sister-in-love Diane Sumrall, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be at Sartinville Methodist Church Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 9:00 am until services there at 1:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Josh Sistrunk, PJ Sistrunk, JC Sistrunk, Kevin Sumrall, Kaden Sistrunk, and Tristian Moreland. Burial will follow in Sartinville Cemetery. Long-time beloved friend, Reverend Lonnie Case will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
