Funeral services for Sylvia "Ann" Thomas, 78, of Sandy Hook, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Capps Funeral Home with Reverend Carl Dickens and Reverend Archie Herrin officiating. Burial will be at Carson Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Thomas passed away at her residence on Friday, April 5, 2019. She was born June 18, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lillie Lusco and Alfred Roberts. She is also preceded in death by her husband Milton Thomas; father-in-law Jessie Thomas; mother-in-law Lessie Thomas; 2 brothers Frank and Paul Lusco; and grandmother Dosie Page.

Ann was a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church. She and her husband owned and operated Thomas Cash Store in Improve, MS from 1975 until 2002. There she made many friends whom she loved like family. Caring for her family and friend was something she was passionate about.

Survivors include son Kenneth Thomas; daughter Deborah (Marvin) Graham; grandchildren hristopher Graham, Amanda (Chase) Sartin, Hannah (Jacob) Harvey, Hunter Thomas, Austin (Haley) Thomas, and Kenzie Thomas; great grandchildren Dalton Foil, Owen Foil, Carter Sartin, Holden Sartin, Weston Harvey, and Drake Thomas; and a host nieces, nephews, family, and loving friends.

Pallbearers are Chase Sartin, Jacob Harvey, Wyatt Burns, Mike Thomas, Austin Thomas, and Hunter Thomas.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. and Sunday, April 07, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
