Graveside services for Theodore "Ted" Wesley Rhodus, 77, of Tylertown, MS will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021at 2:30 PM in the Burkhalter Cemetery.

Mr. Rhodus passed away at his residence in Tylertown, MS on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born January 20, 1944 in Tylertown, MS to the late Doris and Clyde William Rhodus. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law Dewey Francis Boyd; mother-in-law Jo Frances Boyd Meadows; and son-in-law Dorman McDonald.

Mr. Ted was a long-time dairy farmer in Walthall County. In his later years, he owned and operated Ole River Steakhouse where he enjoyed talking to the customers and making new friends. He was proud of each of his kids and loved his family. Marianne was his scholar, Rolna his basketball star, and Ron his fishing buddy. Ted also enjoyed reaping the benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden.  He will be missed.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Delloris Rhodus; children Marianne (Richard) McDonald Scoggins, Rolna (Chris) Anderson, Ron (Lydia) Rhodus; grandchildren Chelsie (Cory) Carney, Justin (Katelyn) Anderson, and Caden Rhodus; great-grandchildren Maci Carney, Lawson Anderson, and Carter Anderson; beloved dog Penny Rhodus; and a host of friends and loving family.
