Memorial services for Ms. Theola "Baby Sis" Dunaway Simoneaux will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Magee's Creek Baptist Church with visitation starting at 9:30 am and services to follow at 10:30 am. The Reverends Pat Bourg and Dale Sauls will officiate. Ms. Simoneaux, a resident of Jayess, Mississippi, died at her home surrounded by her family in Wathall County on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
She was born August 15, 1940 in Lawrence County, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Samuel Dunaway and Verlis Dunaway. She was a loving mother to her five children and devoted "Granny" to her many grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Tennessee Titans fan who loved her waffle house coffee and keeping up with family and friends on facebook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Jerry Lee Sauls, Jr., her former husband and long-time companion Jerry Lee Sauls, Sr., and her husband Valrie Simoneaux. Three brothers Estus, Burlin, and Enoch Dunaway. Five sisters Christine Leacher, Eula Vee Thompson, Earline Rutland, Zula Mae Coon, and Bernice Alford.
Ms. Simoneaux is survived by her four daughters Lanell King of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Melissa Williams of Summit, Mississippi, Melinda Gautreaux of Pine Grove, Louisiana and LaShawn Falks of Jayess, Mississippi. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
