Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Leroy Mitchell, 57, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Rushing Cemetery with the Reverend Michael Morris officiating.

Mr. Mitchell passed away at Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He was born April 16, 1960 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by a son Jeremy Lynn Mitchell; a sister Tracy Lennett Mitchell; his wife Lisa M. Gil; and grandparents Otis and Ophelia Morris, and Enos and Grace Mitchell.

He had been an oilfield worker for Tetra and enjoyed motorcycle riding and cooking.


Survivors include his parents Madison Louis and Geneva Morris Mitchell; one son Thomas Shaun Mitchell; one daughter Jennifer Nicole Mitchell; two brothers Terry L. Mitchel and Tony Lamar Mitchell; one sister Tammy Lorraine Rials; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
