Tilman J. "Nu" Creppel, Jr., a loving and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by the family he cherished. He is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn Creppel, and their three children: Darrin Sr. and Casey Creppel, Quinton and Christina Creppel, and Mindy and Ched Meaux. He leaves behind a legacy carried on by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.

Nu was preceded in death by his parents, Tilman J. Creppel, Sr. and Dora Mae Creppel, as well as his father-in-law, Noah Serigny, and mother-in-law, Gladys Serigny.

In his younger years, Nu began his working life in commercial fishing, a passion he carried with him throughout his life. The water shaped his early days, and that connection stayed close to his heart.

He later retired as a Civilian Captain with the Army Corps of Engineers, a career marked by dedication, integrity, and service. Outside of his work, Nu was a gifted musician—known for his talent, creativity, and the way he could fill a room with music and warmth. He had a rare ability to lift spirits and could make you laugh even on your hardest days.

Nu will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his humor, and the joy and music he brought into the lives of those who knew him. His legacy lives on in every story shared, every melody played, and every moment of laughter he inspired.
