Tishue Belle Brumfield

April 4, 1931 – February 17, 2023

Tishue Belle Brumfield, 91 of Tylertown, MS passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. She was born Saturday, April 4, 1931.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12 noon at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Tylertown Cemetery. Bro. Lonnie Case and Bro. Jim Ennis will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Belle was the oldest living member of Knoxo Baptist Church and was also the treasurer for over 25 years.  She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, fishing, and spending time with her animals, friends and family. In her earlier years she one of her favorite pastimes playing sports. The family would like to thank St. Luke Hospice for the love and care they had for Mrs. Belle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Jessie Brumfield; father Esco Cutrer;  mother Vera Strickland Cutrer; son Charles Willis Brumfield; brother Esco Cutrer, Jr;  sisters Gloria Mosher, Margaret Prescott and Dorothy Smith.

Survivors include her daughter Penny Brumfield with friend (Shannon Mayfield); daughter-in-love Pam Brumfield Case (Lonnie); grandchildren Adam Brumfield (Katie) and Matthew Brumfield (Elizabeth); great-grandchildren Braylon Brumfield, Boston Brumfield, Chrimson Brumfield, Shepard Brumfield, Banks Brumfield, Charlotte-Rose Brumfield, and Ryleigh Roberts; sister Clara Higgs; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Skipper Anderson, Chris Mitchell, Walter Higgs, Michael Higgs, Adam Brumfield, Matt Brumfield, Shephard Brumfield, James Magee, Banks Brumfield, and Braylon Brumfield.

Honorary pallbearers will be her caretaker, Kathy Pounds, Shirley Allen, Yvette Cutrer, Vanessa Jones, Cindy Ennis, Nell Yarborough, and Gayle Fortenberry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Knoxo Baptist Church, 257 Knoxo Road, Tylertown, MS 39667.

Special music will be performed by Angie Holmes and Jennie Laird.
