Funeral services for Tyler Brock , 28, of Birmingham, will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Bro. Justin Knight officiating.
Mr. Brock passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Birmingham, AL. He was born January 3, 1990 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Lue and Keith Brock.
He was preceded in death by Lemme Stinson (Great-grandfather), Beatrice Stinson (Great-grandmother), Otymore Brock (Great-grandfather), Idell Brock (Great-grandmother), Lorena Brewer (Great-grandmother), Tom Harben (Great-grandfather), Edna Harben (Great-grandmother), Corbet Hubbard (Uncle), Jace Breeland (Uncle), and Ben Land (Friend).
Survivors include: Averi Klaire Parta-Brock (Daughter), Keith Brock (Father), Lue Brock (Mother), Morgan Van Landingham (Sister), David Van Landingham (Brother-in-law), Zack Thomas Brock (Brother), Adris Brock (Grandfather), Janice Brock (Grandmother), Glenn Brewer (Great-grandfather), Richard Brewer (Grandfather), Elizabeth Ribble (Grandmother), Gerry Ribble (Grandfather), Shelia Breeland (Aunt), Bridgett Breeland & Sarah Breeland (Cousins), Lance & Susan Brock (Uncle & Aunt), children Logan, Abigail, & Victoria (Cousins), Kyle & Laura Chapman (Uncle & Aunt), and children Caylee & Caden (Cousins), Stuart & Amy Bakay (Uncle & Aunt), Ryan & Kayleigh, Brandi, & Abigail ( Cousins), Adam & Denise Brewer (Uncle & Aunt), Ryan, Thomas & Morgan (Cousins), Sandie Werman (Aunt) Alexander & Angelica (Cousins), and a host of amazing friends and family.
Tyler enjoyed playing with his daughter Averi and participating in many outdoor activities - such as hiking and rock climbing; playing football, soccer, and golf; kayaking, swimming, and fishing. His favorite activities involved competing with his sister Morgan and brother Zack. A former student at University of Alabama, he remained a fiercely devoted Alabama fan.
A talented artist and woodworker, Tyler created many special gifts for family members and friends.
Tyler loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was known for his big smile and his willingness to help others. He had many friends and loved them as though they were family. He had God in the center of his life.
Pallbearers are: Steve Lichtner, Kyle Gennaro, Dominick Constanza, Sarah Breeland, George Gilliam, Turner Griffin, Brett Young, Neal Patel, Bo Mullens, Will Howell, and Jared Murray.
Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
