Vernon Edward Terrell, 85 of Tylertown, MS passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Billdora Senior Care. He was born Friday, November 11, 1938 in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 12:00 PM until funeral service at 2:00 PM at Capps Funeral Home, 270 Old Hwy 98 E, Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Randall Griffin will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanell Simmons Terrell; daughter, Susan Terrell Seals; father, Berley Terrell; mother, Bertha Lee Nichols Terrell; brother-in-law, Dave Fetters; and K9 companion Tico.

Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Terrell (Sandra); daughters, Debbie Barton (John) and Connie Slawson (Bobby); sisters, Peggy Fetters and Bobbie Kalencki (Billy); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; longtime companion Shirley Holmes; along with a host of loving friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Mark Brock, Keith Brock, Charles Ray Polk, Justin Terrell, Austin Thomas, and Joe Varnado.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Alford.
