Walter Karel "Karo" Pigott, 85 of Tylertown, MS passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Saturday, November 11, 1939 in Walthall County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Union Baptist Church, 327 Hwy 27 North, Tylertown, MS from 12 noon until funeral service at 2:00 PM. with Rev. Millard Moak officiating. Burial will follow in Union Church Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Pigott was a member of Union Baptist Church.  He enjoyed riding his Goldwing motorcycle, playing tennis, canoeing, gardening, animals, and playing chess. Walter was always excited about traveling making sure to see as much as possible on each trip. His special conversations about different bible stories will be missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Joseph Pigott; mother, Margaret Jane Culpepper Pigott; brother, Aubrey Pigott; and mother-in-law, Peggy McKenzie.

Survivors include his wife, Reatha McKenzie Pigott;  sons, Brad Pigott (Angie) and Stuart Pigott;  daughter, Lynn Wooten (Ronnie);  step-sons, Jeremy McKenzie (Amy) and Jason McKenzie (Jerrie);  grandchildren, Regan Gagliardi, Adam Gagliardi, Chandler Willis (Ryan), and Bryce Gagliardi (Shelli Guidry);  step-grandchildren, Bridgett Philbar (Michael), Amber McKenzie, Drew McKenzie, Taylor Henderson, and Jacob Wooten; great grandchildren Audrey Willis and Harper Willis; step- great grandchildren, Nola and Michael Philbar; brother, Tommy Pigott (Pam); sister, Linda Faye Marshall (Keith);  father-in-law, Winfred McKenzie; along with a host of special nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Willis, Bryce Gagliardi, Perry Wayne Marshall, David Marshall, Jeremy McKenzie, and Junior Pigott.

Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy McKenzie, Ronnie Wooten, Cory Jones, Brad Pigott, Stuart Pigott, Jason McKenzie, Godfrey Culpepper, Adam Gagliardi, Keith Marshall, Danny Burge, Whitey Roberts, Reggie Rollins, Dusty Young, Tommy Pigott, and Winfred McKenzie.
