Wendy Martin

Wendy  Martin, 62, of Tylertown, MS passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at her residence. She was born Monday, September 9, 1963 in Tylertown, MS to Daniel Bowman and the late Carolyn Seals Bowman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church (Carter`s Creek), 2146 Boyd Reeves Road, Tylertown, MS 39667 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery. Bro. Andrew Pittman will officiate. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wendy was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, riding the roads, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Martin;  son, Daniel Martin (Rena);  daughter, Eva Martin;  father, Daniel Bowman (Royce);  sisters, Wanda Casey, Shari McCullough (Robbie) and Diana Sandifer (Darrell);  grandchildren, Nicole Owens (Sed), Swade Martin, Maddie Anglin (Noah), Sadie Martin, Haley Anglin, Olivia Martin and Avery Martin.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Martin, Chris Martin, Chris McCullough, Austin McCullough, Donovan Grubbs, and Brian Lowery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Denny Denman, Nolan Rayborn, George Holmes, Sydney Singley, and Darrell Lopez.
