Wesley Pierce Leissinger

January 2, 1923 – January 2, 2021

On Jan. 2, 2021 Wesley Pierce Leissinger passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she worshipped and adored, she was 98. Funeral Services will be private. Interment will be in Tylertown, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Leissinger, parents Arlie and Lyda Pierce, two sisters Betty Jane Pierce and Iris Brock; and two brothers Malcon Pierce and Curtis Pierce.

Mrs. Leisssinger is survived by her daughter Dr. Cindy Leissinger; son Henry Leissinger; daughter-in-law Marilyn Leissinger; three grandchildren Duane Leissinger, Jo Wynot, nad Mary Leissinger; three great-grandchildren Eric Leissinger, Nevan Wynot, and Auden Wynot; and her brother E.J. Pierce.

She was a native of Tylertown, MS and a resident of Metairie for 55 years. Mrs. Leissinger will be dearly missed bya family that loved her but also rejoice that she is now with her Lord and reunited with her husband and loved ones. She was a 70 year member of the First Baptist Church of Algiers now located in Walker, LA.
