Funeral services for Wilda Irene Grimsley, 89, of Utica, MS will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home with Brother Archie Herrin and Brother Carl Dickens officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Grimsley passed away at her residence on Monday, November 23, 2020. She was born September 6, 1931 in Pike County, MS to the late Eva and Harvey Deer. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her 6 siblings.

Mrs. Wilda was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Vicksburg, MS and a former member of Carson Springs Baptist Church. She was very supportive of her husband as he served as Minister of Music for various churches through the years. Wilda was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years David Grimsley; daughters Pamela (Howard) Jennings and Kathy Grafton; grandchildren Brian Grafton, Jennifer (Justen) Rouse, Andrea (Trey) Strickland, and Curt (Jessica) Jennings; great-grandchildren Jacob Rouse, Jacie Rouse, and Calhan Strickland; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers are Brian Grafton, Curt Jennings, Garath Fortenberry, Jacob Rouse, Justen Rouse, and Trey Strickland
