Wilford Duncan, Jr., 79 of Mount Hermon, LA passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Hammond Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. He was born Monday, April 30, 1945 in Tylertown, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, Mississippi. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-876-3712

Mr. Duncan was a mechanic and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, attending auctions, and going to flea markets. Mr. Wilford loved his children and grandchild in his own special way.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wildford Duncan, Sr; mother, Marie Lambert Keating; daughter, Sherrie Duncan; grandchild, Gloria Warren; brothers, Kenneth Ray Dunacn and Wayne Duncan; sisters, Kathleen Duncan, Peggy Duncan, and Glenda Duncan.

Survivors include his daughters, Sonia Duncan and Jennifer Starnes (Ellis); son, Josph Fortenberry; grandchildren, Herbert Warren, Kurt Warren, Hanna Cvitanovich, Lilly Rester, Kadie Starnes, Deloris Starnes, and Patlyn Starnes; great grandchildren, Hunner Warren, Kimber Warren, and Annsley Warren.  brother, Jimmy Earl Duncan; sister, Virginia Obryant; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
