Willa Dean Stogner, 91 of Sandy Hook, MS went to her heavenly home Wednesday July, 17, 2024 in her home. Dean was born Monday, December 5, 1932 in Tylertown, MS to Toxie and Myrtle Vince in Sandy Hook. She married her husband Al Stogner in 1948 and they raised their family in Sandy Hook. She was a lifetime member of Carson Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Jerry) Thomas and her son Jeffie Stogner all of Sandy Hook, a sister, Patsy French of Jackson, six grandchildren, Chad (Kathlena) Thomas, Dawn (Toby) Branan, Tiffany (Wayne) Nunez, Jeremy (Krystal) Stogner, Gina (Bill) Thompson, Ashley (Timmy) Burns, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM; Carson Springs Baptist Church, 10 Thad Road, Sandy Hook, MS with Bro. Bo Walker and Bro. Brian Cloys officiating. Burial will follow in Carson Springs Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Dean was preceded in death by her husband Al Stogner, her parents Toxie and Myrtle Vince, two sisters Lena and Mable Vince and great granddaughter, Victoria Fortenberry.
Pallbearers will be Chad Thomas, Toby Branan, Bill Thompson, Timmy Burns, Wayne Nunez, and Matthew Burns.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Fortenberry, Kyler Thomas, Jeremy Stogner, and Joey Thompson.
