William Steve Hill, 69 of Tylertown, MS passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at his residence. He was born Wednesday, November 23, 1955 in Tylertown, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 12 noon at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home, 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. Burial will follow in the Tylertown Cemetery.  Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Steve Hill was a devoted family man who worked tirelessly throughout his life to support his loved ones. He married his high school sweetheart, Jill, and they shared 48 years of marriage. For 38 years, Steve was employed at Hydril/Tenaris, where he started as a machinist and eventually became a supervisor. A passionate baseball fan, he played the sport in high school and later supported and coached his children at the local playground. Steve also enjoyed a good crawfish boil, BBQ or Saints game, relishing the time spent with family and friends. Above all, he took great pride in his grandchildren and often traveled to Texas to spend time with them. Throughout his life, Steve Hill worked hard to be a loving son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ocie Hill; mother, Bessie Hughes Hill; and sister, Donice Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Jill Smith Hill; sons, Mark Hill (Joy) and Mathew Hill (Jenn Danos); daughter, Jamie Klump (Jason); grandchildren, Mia Klump, Jake Klump, Collin Hill and Adaline Hill; sisters, Iris Guidry (Ed), Janice Dugas (Dan), Kathy Wells (Cecil) and grandchild to be Cole Hill; brother-in-law, Steve Johnson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Pallbearers will be Shane Blailock, Clint Boyd, Jesse Boyd, John Bozzelle, Patrick Bozzelle, Jason Klump, Clint Noel, Clay Smith Honorary Pall Baerers: Stephen Johnson and Scott Thomas.
