Wilma Jean Steele

June 18, 1933 – March 18, 2023

Wilma Jean Steele, 89 of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, June 18, 1933.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Capps Funeral Home in Tylertown, Mississippi with Bro. Buddy Day officiating. Capps Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, growing flowers, and was a talented seamstress who made lots of quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Steele; father Joseph Mason;  mother Birdie Poyner Mason.

Survivors include her son Robert Steele; daughters Ellen Hinnant and Gwen Holderfield (Steve).
