Funeral services for Mr. Wilton Glyn Rushing, 81, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, June 22, 2018 from the New Zion Baptist Church.  The Reverend Dan Perry will officiate.  Mr. Rushing died at his residence on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

He was born December 13, 1936 in Walthall County, the son of the late Captain Oliver and Dorothy Tynes Rushing.  He was a master carpenter and a member of New Zion Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Wendell Rushing and one sister, Ann Richmond.

Mr. Rushing is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia Ann Parker Rushing.  One son, Joey Rushing.  Two daughters:  Angela (Danny) Boyd and Gina (Dwayne) Wood.  Two sisters:  Marilyn Busbin and Catherine Hollingsworth.  Eight grandchildren:  Cole (Karen) Boyd; Lori (Robbie) Turnage; Brandon Wood; Cody Rushing; Patti (Patrick) Green; Katie (Michael) Morrison; Dustin (Chelsea) Wood; and Joey Curt Rushing.  Seventeen Great-grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be:  Daryl Busbin; Brett Busbin; Clay Busbin; Shawn Busbin; Greg Richmond; Matthew Crowe; Mike Hollingsworth; and Mark Hollingsworth.

Burial will be in the Rushing Cemetery with Capps Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation on Friday, June 22, 2018  at New Zion Baptist Church from 11 A.M. till service time at 2 P.M..
