Yancey "Fat Boy" Guidry, Sr., 57, of Columbia, MS passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2026. He was born February 15, 1969, in Raceland, LA. Mr. Guidry is preceded in death by is mother, Beulah Guidry; grandmother, Valerie Guidry, brother, Shane Billiot, Sr.; stepdaughter, Emily Terrell; and grandchild, Payton Terrell.

Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Guidry; children, Aaron Paul, Skyla Guidry, and Nova Guidry; stepchildren, Chadwick Terrell, Jennifer Warden (Joseph), and Jayda Norman; grandchildren, Brodie Warden and Claudia Warden; brothers, Richard Billiot, Sr., John Billiot, Sr. and Shoneray O'Haver; sister, Angie Gomez; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.

Mr. Yancey was a skilled tugboat captain and took great pride in being able to walk a boat into dock. He loved being a father and grandfather. Yancey was also a member of Woodlawn Pentecostal Church in Columbia, MS.
